Responsible for gearbox prep, changes and rebuilds.

Gearbox Mechanic, KV Racing (2008-2009) Indycar

Responsible for gearbox prep, changes and rebuilds. In between gearbox duties worked in sub-assembly and for the start of the '09 season worked as a mechanic on the car.

Gearbox Mechanic, Ganassi Racing (6/2007) Grand Am
Responsible for gearbox prep, changes and rebuilds. Played a major role in organizing the GA gearbox department that until then did not have dedicated personnel. Including
record keeping, inventory and tool making to facilitate a professional operation.

Gearbox Mechanic, Rahal Letterman Racing (2004-5/2007) IRL
Responsible for gearbox prep, changes and rebuilds. Starting in 2006 in addition to continuing my gearbox duties at the track was placed in charge of the wing department. I was responsible for all preparation, modifications, inventory, ordering and general liaison between engineering and production concerning the front and rear wings. In 2007 I returned to the gearbox department full time.


Crew Chief, Sam Schmidt Motorsports (2003) Indy Lights
Responsible for the entire car. Supervised two team members. Learned how to wear many hats in order to get the job done. In spite of numerous driver changes and crashes my car never experienced a mechanical failure.

Lead Mechanic, Patrick (2001) and Herdez (2002) CART
Responsible for the entire car. Supervised second mechanic.

Second Mechanic, Penske (96), Gurney (97-98) and PacWest (99-00) CART
Responsible for the front end of the car. Supervised the other front-end mechanic and did engine and clutch prep. At Penske I was a floater mechanic and did whatever needed to be done.

Mechanic, Bridgestone and Skip Barber Racing Schools (93-95)
Factory senior car builder. Component Rebuild Department and Eastern Series field crew.

Over the wall


I have been over the wall since ’97 changing tires as well as fuel and air jack.

Education

A.A.S. in Business Adm., Erie Community College, 3.5 g.p.a. 1992.
First Responder EMT Certification, NurseMed Safety & Health, 2009.
